MEHA welcomes student involvement. Whether you are a graduate student, college undergrad, or high school student, you are welcome to join us.
MEHA has a close relationship with the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire by supporting their students in the environmental health and public health programs. Our Student Committee coordinates efforts to support student involvement in the Association and acts as the liaison with the student groups at both universities. MEHA has been sponsoring the Mary Lauren Olson Scholarship Fund through the Minnesota Medical Foundation. Scholarships are awarded to students at the University of Minnesota's School of Public Health, Division of Environmental and Occupational Health. The Scholarship Committee maintains the scholarship fund balance and a listing of scholarships recipients. Three trustees are appointed by the MEHA Board of Directors to serve a three-year term.
