Sample Letter to Legislators

I am a resident of District ___. As a member of the Minnesota Environmental Health Association (MEHA), I would like to offer you the assistance of our organization in providing information on issues relating to the environmental health of our state.

The members of MEHA are Registered Environmental Health Specialists and have expertise in a variety of areas including food safety, air and water quality, swimming pools and beaches, sewage treatment and septic systems, housing and institutional safety, radiation safety, insect and rodent control, noise abatement and emergency preparedness (including issues related to bioterrorism).

If in your deliberation of bills relating to any of the above areas you should be in need of any information or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me, and I will be happy to put you in touch with one of our members who has experience in the area of concern.
